No, I haven't started a new career as an electrician... although this boiler suit may have you thinking otherwise. I'm a bit unsure about it still, especially without a belt. But I'm willing myself to keep it a) because I feel a good blogger for trying something a bit out of my comfort zone b) because it was an incredible bargain. I spotted this in the dregs of the Topshop sale - it was a whopping £130 originally (wowza!). But I managed to get it for just £36. It's absolutely incredible quality (as you can imagine for that bleedy price!) and was made in Britain. Needless to say I feel like I'm wearing some kind of silky blue British luxury onesie wearing this.

Hope you've all had a super weekend! We've been delving into a cheeky ~~massive birthday cake sized~~ Fondant Fancy this weekend. What a dream. The reduced bit in the bakery section is definitely my weakness.

Instead of being in the shiny skirts crew, I'm starting a shiny shoe crew. After buying three pairs of shiny patent / pvc-ish shoes this weekend, I think it might be worth establising SSA (Shiny Shoes Anonymous). Anyone else's bank balance suffering at the hands of shiny shoes, feel free to get in contact ~~then I can share your shoes too~~ ahem, we can get through this together.

I'm also sporting this rather soft little New Look skirt. It's really not like me to wear pink, but the zips on this make it feel a little less pretty and a bit more ugly and brash. I love me some ugly clothes / shoes, must admit! I'm crazy for anything soft and fluffalicious, so this skirt is right on the money. Plus, it was only £14.99! Wahey!

Right, I'm off to chuck a fruit pie in the oven and then eat the whole thing. I feel I deserve it after lining up 2 more outfit posts for the next week or so! What a good little blogger I am (... on the rare occasion).

Well, look at me blogging twice in one week! This is practically unheard of these days! To be fair, I've just been really looking forward to sharing with you all by second pair of shiny shoes. Urgh, I'm sad. Quarter-life crisis or what.

I just had to snap up these Vans-alike Topshop slip ons on the weekend. They remind me of my younger wanna-be-emo days (anyone else have a few pairs of these?!). I did order the pony skin-like pair online a few weeks ago, but found the fit extremely snug. Although my local store didn't have the pony ones in (wahh!), they did have these shiny little beasties in the next size up. Hello twinkle toes.

Having completely forgotten that owned this oversized bomber jacket, it was quite a treat coming across it on the weekend! Comparing this to my last post is such a contrast - but I do like me some boyish clobber and an all black ensemble!

It's still mighty cold outside isn't it! Despite the cheeky sun making me think it's be somewhat warmer outside today, oh man was I wrong... So I'm massively glad I nabbed this mega cosy Topshop coat in the sale a week or so back. It totally lives up to it's name - I feel like a big old polar bear wearing it. Perfect for when I have to hop into my freezing cold car in the mornings! These trousers are pretty thick too actually, making them a super warm combo with my new coat!

I've had a right good time looking at people's LFW outfits and musings over the past few days. Ya'll are some brave ladies tackling the cobbles in heels!

The weekend... blink and you'll miss it.

Although, I think this weekend that all too familiar experience was partly due to consuming many potent ciders / scrumpys yesterday at a beer festival (fortunately there was a'plennnty of cider, as I'm not a beer fan!). Fermented apple-y goodness. If I could have rolled a barrel of the stuff home, I would of.

Well, these trews are might comfy! Despite feeling a bit autumnal in this shade, as I wear a lot of black, it's good to have some variety in my wardrobe! It's good not to look so morbid day to day! High waisted trousers are perfect for work as they look a bit smarter (I seem to have a habit of dressing casually... good thing it's not frowned upon where I work!).

Anyhow. The moral of today's post is that your don't have to spend too much precious dollah to get your hands on some fab fitting trews. You can nab these babies for just under a tenner - urm. Can I have more in every colour under the sun please?!

Hi March. You've come round pretty bloody quick! Not guna lie, I'm a knackered, garlicy mess this evening so forgive me for being unable to string a few decent sentences together. (the garlic was the result of an excessively flavoured naan bread. My god, what am I on about. Talk about shinfo.)

I've been after a co-od for a dang long time. This one sprang it's beauty upon me a couple of weeks ago. I'm now after a shorts and top set... uh oh. Sorry bank balance! As for these boots, I'm feeling a bit sore that they're now a measly £15. Oh instant gratification, you bugger.

It's a bit late to be parading my Valentines gift on my blog... but I've finally got round to showing off my gift from Missguided - hooray! I don't tend to wear dresses very much anymore actually, I'm a bit of a trouser fiend at the moment. So sporting this girly little number feels pretty odd! Hence the addition of a slobby grey tee.

It's probably bad of me to add this in case it provokes some spending (apologies in advance..!) but River Island have some super reductions on boots at the moment, including the ones I'm wearing here. I may have been sliggggghtly impulsive buying these ~~clodhoppers~~ babies this week also... I am kinda hoping they don't fit. They are just too wondrous... and pricey...

This could not be further from my usual outfits now could it. Look at me swapping head to toe black for all white! I can confirm that people find white outfits a lot stranger than black... at least in Derby anyway.

Got to say, Missguided are truly on point this season. These jeans and snazzy mesh-topped sweater make the perfect combo. The jeans do have a cheeky little rip in the buttock area, which came as a bit of a surprise (shan't be wearing these to work!), but nothing a long t-shirt can't hide!

Despite having fallen in love with these ASOS mule-y thangs (the word mule cracks me up, am I the only one?), they're killer... in a bad way. I am suffering major blistering at their... canvas-y hands, but I'm hoping they'll soften up soon!

Weeee hola bank holiday weekend! I can't lie, I am definitely not wearing this outfit today. The reality is me slobbed out on the sofa still in my PJs. Whilst eating half a dozen Creme Eggs. Living. Tha. Dream.

I may well have discovered my fave trousers ever in the whole world. These Love hareems are ridiculously comfortable and have the ideal smart-casj vibe. They are actually a silky kind of fabric, which I didn't expect, but hey! That means I can wear them in the summer.

Right, I'm off to look at holidays on the interwebz, eggs-cititng times (ever the comedian, seriously I should be on TV or something). Enjoy your bank holiday guys!

Felt a bit cray cray in this outfit, but hey, you only live once. Unless the aliens help you out. Ok, I've been watching too much American Horror Story...

The weather being a reet old moo at the moment. Warm but windy. Such a trickster. Hence the snug jumper paired with my candy-coloured River Island skirt. Pretty gutted I didn't share this buy with you guys earlier, as this colour is now sold out (and it was an online exclusive!). But who knows what lurks on eBay, eh!

As cool as this pool slider trend is, it really isn't a good look for me. My disproportionately short legs make any kind of flippy floppy thingy look ridonkulous in conjunction. Hence my love for flatforms (and I'm loving these holographic numbers). Ahh, sandal-kinda-things that I can actually wear without looking like a little goblin.

Pretty dang excited that I'm off to see the two delights that are Tasha and Amy again this coming weekend - if you haven't already seen their cheeky places on the web go and check them out! They're both absolute babes.

Oh hey again! I didn't get round to blogging last weekend as a went for an internet-friendz meet up with Amy and Tasha (as I mentioned before!). We went to a safari park and I got told off for feeding a zebra...and discovered that carving a whole roast chicken is more difficult than it looks.

I managed to snap up these incredible Topshop Unique trousers at a third of their original price a little while ago. As you can imagine, their original price actually made me feel a bit ill, even the price I ended up paying was somewhat sickening too. But they're real silk and fit perfectly. I do wish I was a meagre half a foot taller though, as there is no way in heck I'm ever going to be able to wear these sans-heels. But hey, beautiful silky trews are worth it.

The print on them is pretty bold so I've been wearing them with simple tees and this super-versatile pleather jacket for good old H&M. Feeling a bit 70s - takes me back to last weekend's soundtrack of boogie tunes as we drove through terrifying camels and goats that looked like Spock.

What a cracking weekend! 1) The sun a'shinin. 2) My diet has mostly consisted of cheese and tiger bread for the past 48hrs. 3) We've booked a holiday. 4)I'm getting some tax I've paid back (wahoo!).

With the sun popping his little hat on we actually ventured a mighty 10 metres from our front door to take some snaps today. A nice break from out magnolia flat I hope you'l agree.

SheLikes has some fab summer pieces in at the moment, this skirt being one of them. It's made of a really lightweight, but not see through, fabric. It's perfect with a basic tee (wow I'm loving basic tees at the moment aren't I...) and is great for smart or casj outfits. It's a total bargain for £19. Enjoy the rest of the sunshine guys!

It's been a long time coming, but I'm finally off on holiday next week. This can only mean several glorious things. 1) Cocktails. 2) Food. 3) Lazing around and 4) Some sunshine in my vitamin D lacking life.

I can't lie, ~~in prep for my holiday~~ out of pure laziness I've been sporting flip flops in the rain quite a lot. Well. Pretty much every other day... I am a little ashamed, as I always used to hate posh uni boys in their jeans and sandals in the winter. But GUYS it's the summer...

These Office sandals from House of Fraser are too comfy to resist even in the all-too-common rains of the British Summer. Totally pretending the rain had never happened in these snaps.

Anyway, I'll be that annoying so and so Instagramming cocktails around the pool next week - so I apologise in advance. But I hear the weather is supposed to be super next week (just my luck!) so enjoy the rays ladies (and lads..?) - be back soon! x

I'm a massive advocate of any kind of basic, unfeminine, non-fancy-schmancy jewellery. Hence this ruthenium Links of London bracelet fast becoming my go-to for accessorising. It's right up my street - simple, grey and dark silver. It's actually a men's piece, but the style means it fits my wrist perfectly.

Each bracelet also comes in a lovely little box - making these not just a fab keepsake gift for big birthdays and the like, but it makes it harder to misplace (if you remember to put it back in the box..!). Ideal for absent-minded folks like me...!

A few weeks back I was invited to pop along to a nearby Boux Avenue store for a bra fitting. Now, I've got to say, I'm buy my bras from M&S religiously. I'm a bit of an odd size, so they've really been the only retailer to offer affordable awkward sizes on the high-street for a while. But when I browsed the Boux site I was pleasantly surprised - plenty of awkwardly sized bras at very fair prices!

First off, the store was really beautiful, with a real boutique feel. The staff were also fab - especially Kiran who did my fitting. She picked out several options for me in summery shades. I opted to go for an underwear set, despite the bikinis looking fantastic! After trying a few styles on, the Cheska bra was the best style for me. Needless to say, this pastel yellow shade is spot on for the season!

If like me you're looking to branch out from your usual undie shops, Boux is certainly worth browsing. And don't forget to check out their swimwear range too!

Jumpsuits are definitely one of my go-tos at the mo. Kind of like going out in a onesie (comfy and little effort needed), but they tend to be pretty flattering too!

I can't lie. I've been going a bit crazy buying garbs recently. Alas, I've had no time to blog about them! Zara has been on fireeee with their sale. Don't know about you guys but I've grabbed some incredible steals there over the past couple of weeks. These two Zara numbers here being my faves of the bunch. I love the combo of navy and orange too - hence showing off weird yet wonderful culottes and bold bag!

What do you guys make of this cute little Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelet too? It's such a cute little piece - simple but it still stands out. It also became the perfect excuse to grab some Marc Jacobs sunnies on the weekend...! Oh how I love finding an excuse to buy new stuff. I got probelms.

Look at these snazzy sandal-y boot hybrid things! I've spotted a few bloggers wearing similar shoes and whilst browsing Clarks saw that they had these in both burgundy and black. Inevitably, as I wear black all too much, I went for black leather. They've got a really unusual heel as well, but are easy to walk in fortunately!

I love a good printed tee, so when I spotted this Zoe Karessen tank in TK Maxx I had to have it. It's ideal for warm weather (despite it looking pretty dingy in these photos, believe it or not it was pretty clammy outside!).

I'm off to the east coast for the weekend - please, please weather, be good to me. It's supposed to rain. Although to be fair, as long as I win a purple minion on a grabby machine in an arcade I'll be happy even if it tips it down!

It's been a while guys! I just got back from a mega-relaxing holiday in Tenerife hence the photos in the sunshine on a balcony here. If only this were the UK eh?!

Anyway onto the important things. First off. This incredible Marc Jacobs clutch, which TK Maxx currently have online for £19.99. Kid ya not. It's real leather and super shiny gold. I got mine in store where the cashier told me they've had silver ones in from time to time too... Tellin' you now, if I see a silver one I will 100% nab that baby too! Grab one for yourself before they're gone.

This jumpsuit is so comfortable and has a perfect print. The colours really flatter and the wide legs and loose belly area are rather kind on the holiday chub - wahoo. I grabbed this for a measly £16.99 online a few weeks back - sadly I can't find it now. But it seems like a wholesale piece, so wouldn't be suprised if other retailers have it too.

Bleedy heck I'm writing a lot. Talk about blog-deprived. I'll leave you to it now. Enough rambling.
